Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Dyar collects, why, and what control you have over it. It applies to dyar.pk and every subdomain, including tools.dyar.pk and games.dyar.pk.
The short version
We collect as little as possible. You can browse the site and use most tools and games without giving us anything. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone except the service providers listed below that keep the site running.
Information you give us
We only receive personal information when you choose to send it:
- Newsletter signup. If you subscribe, we store your email address and which page you subscribed from.
- Contact form. If you message us, we store your name, email address, chosen topic, and the message itself so we can reply.
- Account details. If accounts are added in future and you create one, we store what you provide at signup. Accounts remain optional.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and timestamps. This is used for security, diagnosing errors, and understanding overall traffic levels. It is not used to build a profile of you.
Content you submit to tools
Some tools ask you to paste in a link or text to process. Where a tool can work entirely in your browser, it does, and that content never reaches our servers. Where processing has to happen on our side, the content is used to produce your result and is not stored afterwards unless the tool clearly says it saves your work.
How we use information
- To reply to messages you send us.
- To send launch announcements you asked to receive.
- To operate, secure, and fix problems with the site.
- To understand which parts of the site people find useful.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your messages or submitted content for advertising.
Service providers
Running the site means relying on a few third parties, who process data on our behalf:
- Vercel — hosting and content delivery.
- Google Firebase — database storage for subscriptions, messages, and any saved data.
- Cloudflare — DNS and network protection.
Each has its own privacy practices, and data may be processed on servers outside Pakistan.
Cookies
The site works without advertising or tracking cookies. If a feature needs a cookie to function — keeping you signed in, for example — it will only be used for that purpose. If analytics or advertising is ever added, this policy will be updated first and the change noted at the top of the page.
How long we keep things
Contact messages are kept while they're relevant to an ongoing conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete either at any time.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us.
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your information, subject to anything we're legally required to retain.
To exercise any of these, email hello@dyar.pk or use the contact form.
Children
Dyar is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access restricted to our server-side code. No system is perfectly secure, but we aim not to hold information we don't need in the first place.
Links to other sites
Some tools link out to third-party websites. We aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices, and this policy doesn't cover them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site grows. When we do, we'll change the date shown at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
